Architecture Begins With Relationships

The most successful projects are built on more than a brief. They emerge through collaboration, trust and a shared understanding of what is possible.

BA Architects works with private, community and commercial clients who value an engaged and considered design process. Rather than viewing budget as a limitation, we see it as an opportunity to think strategically, uncover efficiencies and create greater value through design.

Our approach combines careful planning, rigorous project management and a willingness to challenge assumptions. By listening closely and understanding the unique ambitions of each client, we develop architectural responses that are thoughtful, resilient and deeply connected to their context.

The result is architecture that not only serves today's needs, but contributes positively to the communities that will inhabit it for years to come.

CLIENTS WE’VE WORKED WITH…

  • My experience with BA Architects has been terrific. One of the biggest things for me was that BA Architects actually listened to what we wanted and did not have a preconceived idea of what the design outcome should be. Bruno and the staff were always available for us if we had any concerns and had a willingness to listen to what we wanted. We got extremely good value for money, and nothing was added that was too frivolous, keeping to the design brief. This practical approach allowed us to complete the project with $60,000 to spare, which was an amazing bonus and is often unheard of.
I was very, very happy with the work completed. The BA Architects representatives were very upfront and professional, walking us through the project each step of the way. Whenever Bruno gave us suggestions, it was for the integrity of the project. He had a vested interest in the project and was designing something that we and the community could be proud of.

Principal at All Saints Primary School Boonah

  • I was extremely pleased with BA Architects and their professionalism from the very beginning. Overall I received great value from the BA Architects personnel on both the Brunswick Mall Pod and our Harts Road Home designs. The spaces and layouts that Bruno and Greg came up with were great. I’m really happy with the outcome. I can’t think of anything I would change about the process. I was extremely happy with the design and quality of work produced.

Bruno and the team’s flexibility was an extremely important asset. Throughout the entire process the team remained open to the client’s comments, which provided us with the best possible solution.

Suncare Group Projects: Brunswick Mall Pod, Brunswick Street and Harts Road Home, Indooroopilly, Brisbane
  • I was very satisfied with the overall outcome of the project, especially the design aspects that were suggested by BA Architects that were not originally in the brief. BA Architects came up with many great design ideas that we hadn’t thought of and were incorporated into the final design of the home. I appreciated the level of detail and consideration BA Architects went to, especially the recommendations for specific sustainable materials and products, which created our Brisbane home.
Everyone who I dealt with was really on the ball. Bruno and Greg understood our needs in organising council approvals and certification on my behalf. That was great as it took everything off my hands. We would definitely consider completing another residential project with BA Architects.

TW Builders Project: Builder for Harts Road Home, Indooroopilly and Carnarvon Street renovation, Indooroopilly
  • Throughout the project, BA Architects demonstrated a high level of professionalism, leadership, and commitment to achieving project objectives. Their performance was consistently superior in meeting agreed timeframes & budget, aligning deliverables, providing appropriate personnel, producing quality documentation, communicating effectively with stakeholders, working collaboratively with all project participants.

Their strong management systems, proactive approach to resolving challenges, and ability to maintain positive working relationships contributed significantly to the project’s success.

BA Architects was engaged as Architect and Project Manager for the Ngarluma Elders Village in Roebourne, Western Australia, from Concept Design through to project handover. I believe their engagement was largely responsible for the successful delivery of the project and I have no hesitation in recommending BA Architects for future projects.

    Paul Stenson
    CEO, Ngarluma Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC
  • My relationship and experience with members of BA Architects, especially with Bruno
Alahakone, were positive, professional and rewarding. Bruno actively involved myself and other members of the school staff throughout the project. He skillfully and professionally incorporated and adapted thoughts and ideas shared. His communication with me was clear and timely.

BA Architects was engaged as the Architects and lead consultant for the project from the Concept Design phase through to handover of the project and delivered a high-quality outcome while fostering a constructive and enjoyable working relationship.

I have no hesitation in recommending BA Architects and would gladly engage their services again for future projects.
